Deadwood's Scariest Weekend

Every year, hundreds of werewolves, ghouls, goblins, princesses, and celebrities descend on the streets of Deadwood for the annual Deadweird celebration. One of the biggest single events the city sees every year, the weekend is complete with costume contests, paranormal investigations, live music, and, of course, endless beverages.

This year, Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort will host Deadweird’s annual Monster Ball. On October 27 at 7 p.m., the Loaded Dice will entertain the ghoulish crowd inside Paddy’s Garage. This free event will be complete with dancing, giveaways, and full bar service at Paddy O’Neill’s Irish Pub.

On October 28, Tin Lizzie will host their annual $1,500 costume contest for the top three costumes. Registration will begin at 4 p.m. that night with the winners announced at 9 p.m. The weekend will be capped off by live music from Colt 45 Entertainment, again in Paddy’s Garage, that will run until midnight.

In the casino, Tin Lizzie will be giving away over $2,500 in cash and prizes between hourly Hot Seat drawings on Friday and hourly Cash Tank drawings on Saturday

On the city streets, the open container restriction will be lifted starting at 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Paddy O’Neill’s will be selling the event cups required to take advantage of the lifted restriction, so be sure to stop in to purchase one.

Rooms are still available at Hampton Inn at Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort; however, they are filling fast, so be sure to book your room today!
